Why is it free?
Sytra is an interface that runs locally. The heavy lifting is done by the AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic) and your local statistical software. Since you pay them directly for API usage, we don't need to charge a markup.
How much will API costs be?
For most researchers running 5-10 analysis cycles per day, API costs are typically under $5/month. We recommend Claude 3.5 Sonnet or GPT-4o for best results.
